PHILADELPHIA, PA (Thursday, July 2, 2015) – Independence Seaport Museum will host a book signing with author and illustrator Sage Stossel on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The award-winning cartoonist will host a family-friendly book signing of the latest installment of her popular children’s series, On the Loose in Philadelphia. The book signing is included with regular Museum admission.

Over 100 animals are hiding cleverly in favorite Philadelphia locations in this colorfully-illustrated rhyming picture book. Additional attractions include Philadelphia Zoo, Independence Hall, Rittenhouse Square and the Italian Market.
Book signing guests will get to meet with Stossel, talk animals and get their book signed. Copies are available in the Museum gift shop for $14.99 (plus tax).
After the signing, guests are invited to explore the Seaport Museum’s exhibit galleries and National Landmark historic ships, Cruiser Olympia and Submarine Becuna.

About Independence Seaport Museum
Independence Seaport Museum maintains one of the largest maritime collections in North America, combining more than 25,000 artifacts with hands-on exhibits and large-scale ship models.
