As a former Special Education high school history teacher, I am SO excited to go to the FI Genghis Khan exhibit! Instead of taking the minis, the hubby and I have planned a double-date with our close friends. That means 4 grown adults going to FI? TOTAL WIN!!!
We won’t be able to get there until late-December, so my review will be a bit delayed. BUT, in the meantime, we have 4 tickets to give away to one lucky reader! Hurry up and enter to win, they expire December 23rd and are good to enter Franklin Institute as well as the special exhibit.
From the FI website:
Uncover the amazing story of one of the world’s greatest leaders and most misunderstood conquerors, Genghis Khan. Learn how his empire forever changed the face of the world, and discover his legacy as both a ruthless warrior and a revered statesman. Experience the exotic atmosphere of ancient Mongolia, entering the tents, battlegrounds, and marketplaces of a vanished world. Examine the saddles and armor used by the Mongol Warriors and see different styles of bows and arrows, including flaming arrows used to spread fire on the battlefield. See hundreds of historical treasures including weapons, jewels, monuments, and documents up to 1,000 years old.
Disclaimer: In exchange for this post and a review, The Franklin Institute has given my family 4-tickets to enjoy as well as Delaware County Moms.com 4-tickets to giveaway.
