Two exciting things are happening this week and they’re both tied to one Main Line mom!
TV producer, Malvern resident and mother of two boys, Jill Littman, is rockin’ the Main Line this Fall with not one kid-based endeavor… but two!
Littman, a seasoned television professional has produced everything from the Duggars to Restaurant: Impossible and is now excited to be part of a show that even her own kids [ages 12 & 14] will enjoy! It’s called Weird but True! and it’s a TV series that is making science fun for the tweens! Produced in partnership with Nat Geo Kids, the half-hour show, based on the popular books series, follows siblings and science lovers, Charlie & Kirby, as they explore the fun, strange and surprising ways our world works.
Also on Littman’s dance card this week – songs for seeds – the most rockin’ music program for kids 0-6 is coming back to Club LaMaison in Wayne on Monday 9/12!
If you haven’t already experienced it, songs for seeds ain’t your mother’s “mommy-and-me” music class! This weekly 45-minute class is more like a fun, interactive (educational) concert. No shaky eggs here… leading THIS class is a ROCKIN’ BAND of musicians [guitar, keyboard and drums]!
songs for seeds made its debut at Club LaMaison in April of this year and the response has been overwhelming! Voted “Best Music Class” by New York Magazine, it features 45-minute classes led by a three-piece band with as much energy as a preschooler! Each week, the band encourages the kids to sing, play instruments and dance along to live music. It’s truly the hippest, most entertaining music class for young kids and their parents!
“It’s an amazing program,” says Littman. “songs for seeds brings a unique twist to kids music –- there’s truly nothing like it in the Philadelphia area!”
Tune in, sign up & rock this Fall with your kids!
