The NASA Connection. The “Man on the Moon: 1969-2019” maze replicates the famous Apollo 11 moon landing, while its interactive game turns trekkers into astronauts as they meander through a corny version of outer space. The mission: find 15 hidden puzzle pieces that fill in a map to Victory Bridge, solve 12 Kernels of Knowledge, and tackle a series of fun diversions along the way. It’s your choice to take the Easy, Intermediate or Difficult Path for the best space maze experience!
NASA is collaborating with Cherry Crest as part of its own Apollo 50th Anniversary events around the country. On July 19th, NASA Astronaut Colonel Alvin Drew and NASA Chief Technologist Douglas Terrier will be introducing a special exhibit and programs on NASA Spin-off Technologies used by farmers today. Terrier will also be on hand Saturday, July 20th, to continue the NASA presentations. The NASA display will remain in the Discovery Barn until closing day Nov. 2.
Also new this year: The Feed Mill (shown below) where you can climb, crawl and balance your way through a series of tricky rope courses, cargo nets, cables and a rock wall
. . .plus you can meander through acres of gorgeous sunflowers, a Summer/Fall addition to the Fall Season’s Pick-Your-Own Pumpkins and Popcorn.

Disclaimer: My family receives a complimentary season pass in exchange for posts on behalf of Cherry Crest Farms. All opinions are my own. I absolutely, hands down, consider CCF my FAVORITE place in the area to take my children. It gets better every year, and every year we spend no less than 4+ hours there having pure, old fashioned, technology-free, smile eliciting, joyful, FUN!!!!
